Men's cross country runner Basil Koech earned Warhawk of the Week honors after a stellar performance at the NCAA South Region Championship. Koech clocked in at 31:00.06 in the 10K, which is the fastest time in program history and would become another school record broken by the freshman this season along with the 5K and 8K he owns. Koech earned NCAA All-Region honors and finished 20th overall, and was the first person to cross the finish line for the Warhawks. Koech helped the Warhawks take home a eighth place finish at the NCAA South Region Championship.
