Auburn University at Montgomery Athletics

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Auburn University at Montgomery’s Malachi Rhodes was named the Warhawk of the Week after he recorded consecutive double-doubles. 

Rhodes paced the Warhawks in scoring on Thursday night against Trevecca with 22 points and 13 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. He is among the top of the conference at 15 points per game this season, while averaging the third most rebounds per game in the GSC at 8.1.  

AUM was able to pick up its first win in conference play on Saturday against Lee. Rhodes recorded 17 points in Saturday’s win while shooting 9-10 from the free-throw line.

The Warhawks will continue GSC play this week on the road at Delta State on Saturday, December 16.
