Auburn University at Montgomery Athletics

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Auburn University at Montgomery’s Trinity Hambright was named the Warhawk of the Week after she recorded her first career double-double, with a season-high 11 points and 10 rebounds. 

The senior from Greensboro, Ala. had her first career double double in just 22 minutes of action. She also was very efficient and shot 5-9 from the field at 60%. Her 11 points and 10 rebounds were a season-high, while nine of those points came in the fourth quarter to lead AUM’s run.

AUM would fall in overtime by four points, but Hambright’s effort down the stretch was impactful. 

The Warhawks will continue GSC play this week with a pair of home games. Thursday’s game with Union is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CT and Saturday’s with Christian Brothers is set for 2:00 p.m. CT.
