Auburn University at Montgomery Athletics

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Auburn University at Montgomery’s Tyrese Rooks was named the Warhawk of the Week after he extended his hitting streak to five games over the weekend.

The senior from Mobile, Ala. batted .353 and slugged .529 with four RBI across four games last week. In the three games against Southern Wesleyan and Limestone Rooks totaled four RBI and extended his hit streak to five with a pair multi-hit contests. 

The Warhawks went 3-0 over the weekend against Southern Wesleyan and Limestone and improved to 3-4 on the season. 

Baseball will host a midweek game with Spring Hill and welcome Trevecca Nazarene to town this weekend to kick off GSC conference play.
