Auburn University at Montgomery Athletics

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Auburn University at Montgomery’s Carrington Jones was named the Warhawk of the Week.

The Freshman from Bartlett, Tenn. Averaged 15.0 points per game over the last six games of the season. She also shot 50% from the field and totaled five steals and three blocked shots.

She led AUM with 17 points against Valdosta State and was the only double-figure scorer for the Warhawks. Jones also scored a season-high 22 points against Montevallo.

The Warhawks fell to the No. 2 seed Alabama Huntsville in the first round of the GSC tournament where Jones scored 13 points with nine rebounds and shot 3-6 from the field and 7-8 from the free throw line.
