Auburn University at Montgomery Athletics

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Auburn University at Montgomery’s Arianna Machado was named the Warhawk of the Week after hitting a walk off single in the series finale against Christian Brothers on Saturday. 

The Sophomore from Miami, Fla. Was 2-4 at the plate in Saturday’s game and drove in a pair of runs. In the bottom of the seventh, she delivered the winning run to complete the sweep for AUM over Christian Brothers.

The No. 5 ranked Warhawk softball team is 18-6 on the year and 11-4 in conference play. They are at the top of the GSC standings currently and will face Alabama Huntsville this weekend on the road.
