Auburn University at Montgomery Athletics

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Auburn University at Montgomery’s Ryan Slaten was named the Warhawk of the Week after he picked up a win at West Florida. 

The Senior from Alexander City, Ala. tossed five innings of relief at West Florida to get the win. In his five innings of work, he allowed two runs and five hits with four strikeouts. 

AUM took the series at No. 25 UWF and will host Valdosta State this weekend. Valdosta State is 14-6 in conference play this season and stands at second place. 

Slaten was a second team All-GSC selection a season ago with postseason experience that will be important for the Warhawks coming down the stretch of the season.
