MONTGOMERY, Ala. ----- The Auburn Montgomery men's soccer team was defeated by Georgia Gwinnett 2-0 Saturday at the AUM Soccer Complex.
NOTES
• The Warhawks fell to 2-8 on the season with the loss.
• The Grizzlies improved to 6-3-2 on the year.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• The Warhawks tallied six total shots, including two each from
Christian Young and
Michael Hettler.
• Freshmen
Alexis Arriaga and
Simon Van Rheeden also collected shots.

Jacob Bergengren stopped five shots in goal.
• Georgia Gwinnett's Jumar Oakley attempted five shots, three of which were on target, and netted the eventual game winner.
• Andrew Ellis also scored for the Grizzlies.
• Cameron St. Prix-Mit and Ellis Husband assisted on goals.
• GGC goalkeeper Lewis Sharpe stopped the only shot he faced to collect a shutout.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Oakley put the Grizzlies up for good 15:54 into the match, when he took a cross from St. Prix-Mit and finished in the upper corner of the goal.
• Georgia Gwinnett added an insurance goal at the 63:39 mark of the contest, when Husband collected a saved header by Bergengren and scored.

• The Warhawks attempted six shots, compared to 13 for the Grizzlies
• Georgia Gwinnett attempted five corner kicks, while AUM had just one.
