MOBILE, Ala. ----- The Auburn Montgomery women's soccer team defeated Spring Hill College on Sunday afternoon with a final score of 3-1.
 
NOTES
• AUM finished with a record of 8-7-1 and the Badgers finished 0-15-3.  

STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• Senior Amy Glynn concluded her career by tallying two assists in the match.  She also recorded a shot.
• Sophomore Agnes Edlund registered five shots with one hitting the back of the net.
• Freshman Ruby Mendez ended her impressive freshman campaign by adding two goals on eight shots.  She finishes the season with 11.
• Darby Rasch scored the lone goal for the Badgers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• In the fourth minute of the match, Edlund took advantage of the small field of Spring Hill when she curled the first corner kick of the match into the back of the net.
• Closing out the first half, Spring Hill saw the equalizer they were looking for cross the goal line in the 44'.
• In the 70^th minute, Glynn played a ball to Mendez in the box that inevitably gave the Warhawks the lead.
• Later, in the 78', AUM found the insurance goal they were looking for when Mendez and Glynn linked up for a second time in the match.
• AUM held the lead and finished the game with a final score of 3-1.


INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• Auburn Montgomery outshot Spring Hill 18-16.
• The Warhawks tallied five corner kicks in the match while Spring Hill recorded two.
• AUM goalkeeping recorded four saves while the Badgers registered three.
