MONTGOMERY, Ala. ----- The Auburn Montgomery men's soccer team fell to Middle Georgia State University 3-1 Sunday afternoon at home.
NOTES
• AUM fell to 2-5, while Middle Georgia improved to 7-1.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• Sophomore
Nino Bozesan scored his first goal of the 2016 season, and provided the only goal for the Warhawks on an assist from sophomore
Nick Davis.

Alan Harwell finished the night with a team-high three shots.

• Ryan Mitchell, Daniel Ward and Degamarri Matthews scored for the Knights.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Middle Georgia scored first in the 22
nd minute on a free-kick from Ward that found the bottom left of the goal to give the Knights a 1-0 lead.
• Just before the half in the 42
nd minute, Middle Georgia tallied its second goal of the match on a strike from Matthews.
• AUM put two shots on frame in the first half, but trailed 2-0 at the break.
• Two minutes after halftime, Bozesan scored his first goal of the season on a cross from Davis to bring the Warhawks to within one.
• Middle Georgia added its final goal of the match in the 65
th minute on a cross from Ward to Mitchell. The Knights would hold the lead and take the victory 3-1.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• AUM finished the match with 14 shots, while Middle Georgia tallied 13. The Warhawks put five shots on frame, while the Knights added six.
• AUM led Middle Georgia in corner kicks 5-0.
