Ruby Mendez.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The first half of the game saw back and forth action as no team was able to gain any extended possession in the opponents third of the pitch. Â
• Alabama Huntsville took the lead with just two minutes left in the first half when Riley Ridgeway capitalized off a rebounded shot to put the Chargers up 1-0.
• The Chargers outshot the Warhawks 5-0 in the first half.
• Mendez equalized for the Warhawks just two minutes into the half when she picked up a pass from Singleterry that found her alone in front of the net, Mendez slotted the ball past the keeper to her left.
• Ten minutes later Mendez netted her second goal of the game when she took a pass from Svaerke and beat the keeper to her right.
• Mendez put the game on ice for the Warhawks in the 85
th minute on a beautiful strike from 30 yards out that beat the keeper up and to the right.

• AUM finished the match with 8 shots, and 5 were put on target. Alabama Huntsville finished the game with 10 shots with 6 on frame.
