MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery men's soccer team will take on Gulf South Conference opponents Delta State on Friday, Oct. 19, and Mississippi College on Sunday, Oct. 21 from the AUM Soccer complex.

About the Warhawks 
AUM (2-10-1, 1-5-1 GSC) approaches this weekend's action coming off of a 3-1 loss at Montevallo on Sunday, Oct. 14 in their most recent contest.
 
Billy Murphy and Tate Dean lead the Warhawks with three goals and six points apiece. Phillip Spickenbaum, Sverrir Smarason, Austin Sun Chee Fore, Alexis Arriaga and Cedarian Brunelle have all also scored a goal for AUM in 2018.
 
Spickenbaum's three assists on the season currently serves as the team high, while Smarason, Sun Chee Fore, Caleb Fargarson, Alexander Wagner, Berkly Louviere, William York and Raphael Meyerhoff have all logged an assist on the season. 
 
In goal, Alexander Kraus (1-9-1) sits second in the conference with 69 saves on the season for the Warhawks, while also carrying a 74.2 save percentage into the weekend. 
 
The Warhawks bring an all-time record of 1-1 against Mississippi College and 0-2-0 against Delta State. 
 
About the Statesmen
Delta State (2-8-2, 1-5-1 GSC) is coming off of a 3-2 nonconference win over Ouachita Baptist on Monday, Oct. 15 in their most recent work. The Statesmen fell 4-1 at Christian Brothers on Sunday, Oct. 7 in their most recent GSC contest.
 
The Statesmen are currently averaging 1.25 goals per game, while allowing opponents to score three per match. Bruno Osorio and Louis Fergurson both lead Delta State with four goals scored, while Myron Duffy leads the Statesmen offensively with three assists.
 
In goal, Matthew Klinck (2-4-2) has seen the bulk of the action for the Statesmen, posting a goals against average of 2.10 to go with 39 saves tallied in 2018.
 
About the Choctaws
Mississippi College (6-4, 4-3 GSC) has seen significant time off since their last time out, a 3-1 GSC win at Union on Sunday, Sept. 7.
 
The Choctaws head into the weekend ranked third in the GSC in average goals scored per contest, currently averaging 2.80 per match. Connor Johnson leads MC with six goals scored, while Andy Alanis paces the Choctaws with three assists.
 
On defense, the Choctaws are allowing opponents to score 1.90 goals per game. Goalkeper Goncalo Pernas (1-1-0) has logged the last two starts in goal for the Choctaws, having allotted just two goals over that span.      
 
Prior to their matchup with AUM, the Choctaws will take on Montevallo on Friday, Oct. 19.
