MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery men's soccer team wrapped up their 2018 season on Saturday, Oct. 27 with a 3-1 loss to Gulf South Conference foe Christian Brothers University from the AUM Soccer Complex.

- With the loss, AUM finishes up their 2018 campaign at 3-12-2 overall and 2-7-2 in GSC action.

William York were all recognized as part of Senior Day festivities.
- The match also marked for Head Coach
Wulf Koch's final game at AUM, capping off a storied career that saw him post a career record of 124-96-19 as head coach of the men's program.
Standout Performers

Asher Gipner logged his first goal of the 2018 season in the match, while also taking a team-high three shots on the day.

Berkly Louviere provided the lone assist for AUM, in addition to tallying two shots and one shot on goal.

Alexander Wagner and
Tate Dean both accounted for two shots, while Smarason was responsible for a shot on goal.
How it Happened
- The Buccaneers scored all three of their goals in an eight-minute span, with goals in the 26th, 30th and 34th minutes to take a 3-0 lead into the break.
The Warhawks would kick it up a notch in the second period, as they went on to outshoot the Bucs 9-7 throught the second 45 minutes.
- AUM got on the board in the 85th minute, when Gipner would find the back of the net after Louviere's corner kick was deflected around in the box before finding his foot.

- The Warhawks took seven corner kicks on the day, while holding the Bucs to five.

"I'll definitely miss the guys, and just trying to how them what soccer is all about, in terms of life skills," Coach Koch said. "It'll be difficult, but I'm sure Jessie (Rosa) and the administration will do a great job with the search and finding a replacement that more than worthy to take over the program."
