MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery men's soccer team will take to the road this weekend for a pair of Gulf South Conference matches at West Alabama on Friday Oct. 5 at 7:00 p.m., and at Alabama Huntsville on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 3:30 p.m.

About the Warhawks
AUM (2-8, 1-3 GSC) approaches the weekend having dropped a 2-0 GSC decision to Spring Hill on Sunday, Sept. 30 in their most recent match.
 
Three Warhawks lead the way offensively for AUM, as Tate Dean, Billy Murphy and Phillip Spickenbaum all have accumulated four points on the season. Murphy and Dean's two goals apiece marks for the team-high, while Spickenbaum's two assists serves as the team lead.   
 
Six different Warhawks have contributed for a goal, while six different Warhawks have also logged an assist on the season. Alexis Arriaga, Sverrir Smarason and Austin Sun Chee Fore have all accounted for a goal, while Berkly Louviere, Alexander Wagner, William York, Smarason and Sun Chee Fore have all also notched an assist in 2018. 
 
In goal, Alexander Kraus (1-7) sits second in the conference with 52 saves in eight games started. The Freshman keeper's 6.5 saves per contest serves as the second best rate in the GSC.
 
About the Tigers
West Alabama (4-4-1, 2-2-0 GSC) comes into the weekend having lost their last three matches by a score of 1-0, including a road setback at Lander University on Monday, Oct. 1 in their most recent work.
 
The Tigers have scored 13 goals in nine matches, for a pace of 1.44 per game. Ali Brador leads the squad with six goals scored, while Harrison Roberts paces the GSC with five assists distributed on the season.
 
The UWA defense has surrendered 11 goals in nine contests, for a mark of 1.22 per match. Goalkeeper Ollie Harrison brings a goals against average of 1.34 into the weekend, with a save percentage of 75 percent on the season. 
 
About the Chargers
Alabama Huntsville (4-4-1, 2-1-1 GSC) dropped a 2-1 road contest to Carson-Newman University on Saturday, Sept. 29 in their most recent action.
 
The Chargers serve as one of five teams in the GSC to be averaging at least two goals per contest in 2018, with a mark of 2.11 through 9 games. Rafa Moreno leads the charge for UAH, and sits second in the conference with eight goals scored on the year, while Guy Clennett leads UAH with three assists. 
 
UAH is allowing opponents to score 1.33 goals per match, having surrendered 14 in 9 games. Goalkeeper Myles Fullen has seen every minute of action between the posts for the Chargers in 2018, while sporting a 1.30 GAA that ranks among the top five keepers in the GSC, to go along with two shutouts. 
 
The Chargers will host Montevallo on Friday, Oct .5 at 7:30 p.m. prior to hosting AUM on Sunday, Oct. 7.
