Men’s Soccer Travels to Milligan College for Non-Conference Bout

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery men's soccer team will play their first road contest of the 2018 season on Saturday, Sept. 15 when they take on the Buffaloes of Milligan College in Milligan College, Tenn at 1:00 p.m.

About the Warhawks
AUM (1-3) comes into Saturday's contest against Milligan College having dropped a tightly-contested 2-1 match to the number-nine ranked Sailfish of Palm Beach Atlantic University in their most recent match on Sunday, Sept. 9th.

Junior forward Billy Murphy led the Warhawk attack with his equalizing goal in the 67th minute, while freshman keeper Alexander Kraus posted a career-high seven saves in the setback.
 
Junior defender Tate Dean leads the AUM offense with two goals scored and four points accumulated, while Alexander Wagner, Sverrir Smarason, Berkly Louviere and Phillip Spickenbaum have all logged an assist for the Warhawks on the season. 
 
In goal for AUM, Kraus is averaging 6.5 saves per match, with a goals against average of 1.50 through his two matches of action. 
 
Saturday's match represents the last weekend of nonconference play before the Warhawks begin their 2018 Gulf South Conference slate on Sept. 21 at Lee University.
 
The Warhawks hold an all-time advantage of 2-0 against the Buffaloes, including a 4-1 victory in their most recent meeting in 2013.
 
 
About the Buffaloes
Milligan College (3-1) heads into Saturday's matchup with AUM coming off a 6-0 loss at the hands of Tennessee Wesleyan in their Appalachian Athletic Conference opener on Saturday, Sept. 8th. 
 
The Buffaloes have netted 13 goals in four contests, for an average of just over three per match. 

Roberto Fernandez Garrido (5) and Robell Habte (4) have accounted for the bulk of the Buffalo attack, with a combined nine of the 13 goals scored on the season. Harry Griffin leads the Buffaloes with two assists on the season, while having also scored a goal. 
 
Luke Dove has seen all of the action in net for the Buffaloes, with seven goals allowed through four matches for a GAA of 1.75
