MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery men's soccer team will open up Gulf South Conference play this weekend with road matches at Lee on Friday Sept. 21st, and at Shorter on Sunday, Sept. 23rd.
Match time for their contest at Lee, which was originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT, has been changed to 4:00 p.m. CT, while the match at Shorter will still be played at its originally scheduled time of 2:30 p.m. CT.

About the Warhawks
AUM (1-5) heads into the weekend having dropped a 5-0 contest at #4 Young Harris on Tuesday, Sept. 18th in their most recent contest. Freshman goalkeeper
Alexander Kraus tallied a career-high 16 saves for the Warhawks in the setback.

In goal, Kraus has totaled 31 saves on the season, a mark that ranks second among GSC keepers, with a save .738 save percentage on the young season.
The Warhawks will look to avenge a 4-0 loss against Lee in 2017, and will look to make it a second-straight year in which they have knocked off Shorter. The Warhawks bested the Hawks 4-2 on Sunday, Oct. 15th of the 2017 season.
About the Flames
Lee University (3-2-1, 1-0 GSC) defeated Shorter 7-0 in their GSC opener on Saturday, Sept. 15th in their most recent work.
The Flames currently rank fourth in the conference in goals scored per contest, averaging 2.33 per match. Aidan Moore leads the Flame attack with four goals sored, while Palle Jespersen paces the Flame offense with three asissts.
In goal, the Flames are allowing just 0.83 goal per contest to their opponents, a mark that ranks atop the GSC. Keeper Daniel Hrenko ranks first in the GSC in goals against average (0.85) and shutouts (2)
About the Hawks
Shorter University (0-6, 0-1 GSC) was topped by Lee 7-0 in Cleveland, Tenn. in their GSC opener on Saturday, Sept. 15th.
Thalison Alex, Myron Asamoah, Sergio Vasquez-Santillan and Jackson Wheatley all led the Shorter offense with one goal apiece on the season, while Val Evans leads the team with one assist in 2018.
Goalkeeper Sean Carpenter has seen the majority of playing time in goal for the Hawks, while posting a team-best 17 saves.
