MONTGOMERY, Ala. ---The Auburn Montgomery men's soccer team pounded out a season-high four goals en route to a 4-1 victory over the Hurricanes of Georgia Southwestern State University on Wednesday, Sept. 18 from the AUM Soccer Complex.
NOTEWORTHY
- With the win, the Warhawks improve to 2-3 on the season.
- The victory over the Hurricanes brings AUM's all-time series record to 4-0 against GSW, while having outscored them 28-1 in those four meetings.

Hayes Colvin both made their Warhawk debut in the match.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS

Thomas Carlile scored a game-high two goals for AUM, while also picking up an assist. The goals marked for the Athgarvan, Ireland native's first scores as a Warhawk, as he now leads the Orange and Black with six points on the season.

Phillip Spickenbaum added a goal and an assist in the contest, upping his season assist tally to a team-high three.

Arnaud Baron collected his first career assist as a Warhawk, while
Alexis Arriaga notched his first goal of the season via a penalty kick.
- In goal,
Alexander Kraus improved to 2-1 on the year, while grabbing three saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Warhawks broke the scoreless tie in the 20th minute, when Spickenbaum sent a diving header into the back of the net to put AUM up 1-0. The goal came via a beautiful service from Baron from just outside the box, who received a pass in stride from Carlile for the double assist.
- Just 38 seconds later, Spickenbaum would help set up Carlile for his first score as Warhawk and double AUM's lead to 2-0.
- The Warhawks would extend their lead to 3-0 in minute number 26, as it was Carlile this time finding the back of the net in the unassisted variety.
- The Hurricanes would score their lone goal of the match just one minute later in the 27th, to trim AUM's lead to 3-1 heading into the break.
- Arriaga would go on to put the nail in the coffin for AUM in the 70th minute, as his penalty kick found the back of the net to put AUM back up by three and give way to the 4-1 final score.

- The Warhawks put six shots on frame, while the Hurricanes tallied four.
