"Today was a classic GSC battle; a physical hard fought game from both teams," Head Coach
Matthew Thorne said. "We started the game slow but fought our way back in. We had some great goals from Phil, Andy, Charlie and Elijah.
Alexander Kraus was fantastic today also for us in goal. Overall, I'm very pleased with an away win against a very good side that has weapons to cause any team issues. We'll enjoy the win tonight and then come back tomorrow and get ready for our next game."
The men's soccer team will be back in action on Sunday, Feb. 21 when they take on Lee University at 3:00 p.m. (CST) from Cleveland, Tenn.
