Germantown, Tenn. – The Auburn Montgomery women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 contest to the Lady Buccaneers of Christian Brothers University on Thursday, March 18 in the opening round of the GSC Spring Championship Series.
With the loss, AUM closes out the 2021 GSC Spring Championship Series with a record of 1-5.

Both teams took advantage of own goals in half number one. An own goal by the Warhawks put CBU on top 1-0 in the 15th minute, followed by the Lady Bucs' own goal in the 37th minute to tie the game at one-all.
Christian Brothers scored the eventual game-winner in the 86th minute.
The Lady Bucs outshot the Warhawks 14-2 on the day, with nine shots on goal and holding AUM to none.
Mayson Jaindl logged both of the Orange and Black's shots in the contest.
In goal,
Rebecca Jamieson (1-5) tallied all 90 minutes in goal while grabbing seven saves.
