Franck Kouentchi Named Warhawk of the Week

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Auburn University at Montgomery men's soccer player Franck Kouentchi was tabbed as Warhawk of the Week after helping his team take down Shorter University 3-1 Friday night on Senior Night.

With the Warhawks down a goal, Kouentchi found the equalizer in the 61st minute.

AUM led the contest 2-1 and Kouentchi put the cherry on top in the 82nd minute scoring his second goal of the season.

The Bert, France native has scored four goals this season, which ties him for the team lead and ranks in a tie for third overall in the Gulf South Conference.

The Warhawk of the Week award is a weekly honor on AUMathletics.com that is presented to one male or female student-athlete for their athletic achievements from the previous week.

AUM is back in action on Tuesday at No. 11 Carson-Newman University, kickoff is scheduled for Noon.
