CARROLLTON, Ga. -- The University of West Georgia posted 24 shots, including 11 on goal, in a 3-0 victory over the Auburn University at Montgomery women's soccer team on Thursday night in the penultimate game of the regular season.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Neither team managed to get a shot off in the first eight and half minutes of the match before West Georgia's Jayden Boswell attempted a shot at the 8:53 mark of the first half that was saved by Karla Gaytan.
- West Georgia found the first goal of the game from Catherine Reeves in the 18th minute to put UWG on top 1-0.
- Mayson Jaindl took a pair of shots in the first half, which were AUM's only shots of the half.
- A second goal from Reeves pushed the Wolves to a 2-0 halftime advantage.
- Ahead in the shot category 6-2 at the halftime intermission, UWG continued to press and attempted 18 second-half shots.
- Boswell added the final goal of the contest in the 66th minute.
- Gaytan made eight total saves, including seven in the second half, to set a new season-high for saves in a match.
