#44 Women’s Tennis Suffers Setback Against #6 Cameron

TYLER, Texas – In the final match of a six-match road trip, the 44th-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team dropped a 4-2 match to sixth-ranked Cameron on Saturday afternoon.

The Warhawks drop their second-straight for the first time this season and fall to 8-4 on the year. The Aggies, meanwhile, improve to 11-2 in 2022.

After failing to secure the doubles point, the Warhawks attempted to regain control of the match in singles play. However, only Estefania Garcia and Ana Villalvazo were able to see victories, resulting in a 4-2 AUM loss.

AUM will return home for the first time since February 25 for their next match on Thursday, March 24. The Warhawks will host Southern Arkansas at the AUM Tennis Complex at 1 p.m.
