DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The 27
th-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team dropped a hard-fought 4-3 match on the road to non-conference foe and 13
th-ranked North Georgia on Saturday afternoon.
AUM has their three-match winning streak snapped and falls to 11-5 on the year. North Georgia improves to 12-2 in 2022.
The Warhawks faltered in doubles action, dropping all three courts. AUM, however, was able to rebound in singles play, finding wins in the first, third, and fifth flights. The match was decided in the sixth singles flight, as
Alba De La Torre fell 6-4, 7-5 as North Georgia took the win.
