WORDS FROM THE WARHAWKS
"Congrats to Mobile tonight," said head coach
Matthew Thorne. "They are a very good side. We did well to get the tying goal from Joel [Ibanez], who converted a nice header to get on the scoresheet for the first time as a Warhawk. But to be drawn 1-1, tied late, we're disappointed to concede on a set piece. We now have to shift all of our focus to Gulf South Conference play and get ready to visit Mississippi College next Friday."
UP NEXT
The Warhawks travel to Clinton, Miss. to take on Mississippi College on Friday, Sept. 9 at 3:30 p.m. to open Gulf South Conference play.
