MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery Women's soccer team played a physical game against Delta State University that ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday night at the AUM Soccer Complex in Gulf South Conference action on Senior Day.
The Warhawks honored Jillian Martin, Faith Hayes, Karla Gaytan, Gaby Walker, and Anila Mantello prior to the match for being seniors.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Delta State's Poppy Derhun attempted a shot on goal, but Gaytan made a spectacular leaping save in the eighth minute of the match.
- In the 33rd minute, the Lady Statesmen's Mille Congerton seized an opportunity and netted a goal, securing a 1-0 advantage.
- In the 36th minute, Mantello responded with a goal of her own, assisted by Sydney Garth and Lauren Akemon to make the score level.
- Gaytan made her fourth and final save in the 80th minute as the eventually came to a close.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Gaytan tallied four saves on the night.
- Mantello's goal was her third of the season and fifth in her career.
- Garth's assist brings her season-total to five, which is tied for third in the GSC.
- Delta State finished the game with 13 shots on the goal.
