MONTGOMERY, Ala.. – The Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team defeated the sixth ranked-University of North Georgia Nighthawks in a thrilling 4-3 finish of a nonconference match at the AUM Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon.

- Garcia fell at court one against Wojcikova by a final score of 6-4, 7-5.
- Urbiola dropped a match against Lippert at the second court 1-6, 7-6, and 6-3.
- Melissa Yakup Pour was defeated against Anna Markvartova 6-3, 6-4 on court three for UNG's final point of the day.
- Ana Villalvazo won her match at court four against Linnikova 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.
- Izco picked up a win over Moinard at the fifth court 6-3, 1-6, 6-4 to give AUM a third point.
- AUM clinched the match on court six when Ibarra and Ascarrunz went to three sets. Ibarra dropped the first set 2-6 and bounced back to take sets two and three 6-5, 7-6 to claim the victory for AUM.
