MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery softball team wrapped up a three-game Gulf South Conference series on Sunday at the AUM Softball Complex with a 3-2 victory over Lee University.

HIGHLIGHTS
- AUM struck first in the first inning with a Molly Cobb two RBI single up the middle that scored Allie Miller and Chloe Baynes to put the Warhawks up 2-0.
- Lexi Love gave AUM another run with a solo homer to left field. The home run was Love's first of the year.
- Lee tried to mount a comeback in the fifth with a RBI single from Razo and scored Bohl to cut the lead to 3-1.
- Sydni Lee hit a solo home run to left field to make it 3-2 but, that was all Lady Flames got as AUM completed the sweep.
ON THE MOUND
- Sydni Free (3-3) earned the win in the circle for AUM working 4.2 innings and giving up one run on four hits.
- Morgan Ferguson pitched the final 2.1 innings and gave up one run on one hit. Ferguson struck four of the eight batters she faced out.
UP NEXT
AUM will hit the road on Wednesday, March 8 for a midweek nonconference doubleheader at the University of West Georgia at 2 PM.
