SAINT LEO, Fla. - The Auburn University at Montgomery softball team was defeated in the winner's bracket against Nova Southeastern University 5-2 on Friday afternoon at the University Softball Stadium on the campus of Saint Leo University in the NCAA Division II South Regional Two bracket.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The Sharks took a 3-0 advantage after four innings scoring two in the third and one in the fourth.
- Chloe Baynes and Allie Miller brought a run home in the fifth inning to make it a 3-2 ballgame.
- Nova Southeastern added a pair of insurance runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 5-2 lead.
- The Warhawks could not get a rally going and fell 5-2.
IN THE CIRCLE
- Morgan Ferguson (L, 12-6) took the loss giving up five runs with two being earned. She walked six batters and struck four out after tossing 4.1 innings.
- Avery Dickerson came in relief and worked 1.2 innings and gave up no runs on one hit. She struck one batter out.
