MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Auburn University at Montgomery head softball coach Scottie Wilkes is excited to announce the 2024 schedule that features eight teams that were receiving votes or nationally ranked in the final National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25 Coaches Poll. 

"We are excited about our 2024 schedule and can't wait to begin the season," Wilkes said. "We have a very tough nonconference schedule against teams that we are very familiar with that will prepare us for the Gulf South Conference." 

The Warhawks begin the 2024 campaign February 2-3 at the Gulf Shores Invitational where they will begin the invitational playing a rematch of the 2023 NCAA Division II South Regional II Championship Series against Nova Southeastern University at 10 a.m. on Feb. 2. Auburn Montgomery also plays Lubbock Christian University, Spring Hill College, and Saint Leo University the first weekend of the regular season. 

The second weekend has AUM traveling to Longwood, Florida for the Panther Invitational where they will play five nonconference games with four being against Sunshine State Conference opponents. 

Gulf South Conference action begins with a roadtrip to Valdosta State University on February 17-18. 

The Warhawks first game at the AUM Softball Complex opens an eight-game home stretch where they host Mississippi College (Feb. 24-25), Georgia Southwestern State University (Feb. 27), and the University of West Alabama (March 1-2). 

The rest of the midweek schedule consists of doubleheaders at Columbus State University (March 5), welcoming the defending national champions University of North Georgia to the AUM Softball Complex (March 12), and a neutral site battle against The University of Alabama in Huntsville in Trussville, Alabama (April 3).

The home portion of GSC action sees AUM hosting Union University (March 22-23), University of West Georgia (April 12-13), and the University of West Florida (April 19-20).  

The remaining conference schedule has the Warhawks on the road at Shorter University (March 8-9), Lee University (March 15-16), Christian Brothers University (March 28-29), and wrapping up the regular season at the University of Montevallo (April 26-27).
