AUM Seeded No. 6 In NCAA Tournament, Will Face No. 3 Coker

The Warhawks are 11-2-6 this season.

INDIANAPOLIS – The AUM men's soccer team was selected as the No. 6 seed in the 2024 NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship as announced by the national committee on Monday.
 
AUM will play at No. 3 seed Coker on Sunday, Nov. 24 in the second round of the 10-team Super Region 2 regional. Kick-off at Coker Athletic Field will be at 3 p.m. Eastern time.
 
AUM (11-2-6) is making its second NCAA postseason appearance in the last four seasons. The Warhawks went 1-1-1 in 2021 as they advanced to the national quarterfinals.
 
The Warhawks earned the automatic bid by winning the program's first Gulf South Conference Championship on Saturday with a 1-0 victory over West Florida.
 
Coker earned an at-large berth after going 14-2-1. The Cobras tied for first in the South Atlantic Conference regular-season and had a 13-match unbeaten streak prior to falling in the SAC semifinals.
 
This will be the first-ever meeting between the schools in men's soccer.
 
The winner of Sunday's contest will go on to face the winner of the #2 Lynn vs. #7 West Florida/#10 Flagler on Dec. 1.
