CLINTON, Miss. - The AUM women's soccer team was defeated on the road at Mississippi College, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon to conclude the season.  

AUM (4-10-2, 2-9-1) recorded seven shots with five on goal, while Mississippi College (8-5-3, 4-5-3) finished with 32 shots total and 16 on goal.

The Lady Choctaws took an early lead with a goal in the 7^th minute of the game and would add another in the 12^th minute. Sofia Eduarda Silva delivered a pair of goals in Sunday's match, she added another in the 63^rdminute to extend the lead to three. 

Eduarda's second goal of the day and Mississippi college's third team goal came on a penalty kick after a foul on a throw-in.

AUM was unable to gain momentum after trailing by two scores for 78 minutes of total play. The Warhawks allowed a goal in each half of the match and concluded their season with a shutout loss on Sunday. 

AUM ended the regular season outside of the top eight teams in the conference and will not move on to postseason play.
