KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The AUM men's soccer team had three players selected to the All-South Region teams by the United Soccer Coaches on Tuesday.
Adam Hanson, Benjamin Hoffman and
Landon Surratt were each second team honorees.
Hanson was a starter in all 20 games and has two goals, four assists and a pair of game-winning goals from his midfield spot. The senior out of Woodbridge, England finished second on the team with 34 shots and 13 shots on goal. He earned Second Team All-GSC mention last month.
Hoffman was one of the top players in the region, scoring nine goals (5th in GSC) and five game-winning goals (2nd in GSC). The rookie from Berlin, Germany was also the GSC freshman leader in goals and game winners, while earning First Team All-GSC honors.
Surratt was one of the leaders on a defensive unit that was among the best in the country. The senior from Trussville, Alabama led the Warhawks with 10 assists, ranking him 13th nationally and first in the GSC.
The three players were among the top four point scorers for the Warhawks in 2024, helping lead the team to a, 11-3-6 record, a Gulf South Conference Championship and a NCAA Second Round appearance.
