Carrollton, Ga. – The Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team defeated the University of West Georgia 5-2 on Wednesday afternoon at Sunset Hills Country Club in a Gulf South Conference matchup.

FIRST SERVE – DOUBLES 

• Estefania Garcia and Ane Ibarra got everything started for the Warhawks on court one with a 7-6 victory over Andrea Medel and Sophie Mnich.
• Melissa Yakup Pour and Sofia Neri picked up a 7-6 win in a close match over Lea Von Kozierowski and Futaba Saito on court two.
• Ana Villalvazo and Nahia Izco defeated Karla Menendez and Luna Mouton 6-0 on court three to clinch the doubles point for the Warhawks.

FIRST SERVE – SINGLES

• Garcia was defeated 6-7, 7-10 by Kozierowski on court one. 
• Yakup Pour defeated Mnich 6-1, 6-0 on court two.
• Villalvazo picked up a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Medel on court three.
• Izco found a 6-3, 6-4 win against Rebeca Lopez on court four. 
• Ibarra suffered a 3-6, 7-10 lost on court five against Menendez.
• Neri clinched a 6-4, 6-2 over on court five against win against Callie Stanfield.
