MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Each week, the Auburn University at Montgomery Office of Athletics Communications previews the upcoming week with “This Week in AUM Athletics.”

  • The Warhawk baseball team will host Miles College on Tuesday, April 16 at 4 p.m. before hosting RV/No. 16 University of West Florida in the final home Gulf South Conference series of the season. Game one of the series is Friday, April 19 at 5 p.m. and the doubleheader will be Saturday, April 20 at 1 p.m. 
  • AUM is coming off of the program's seventh GSC series win of the season after taking two of three games against University of West Georgia. AUM won game two 14-0 and followed it with a 4-0 win against the Wolves, highlighted by Zach Dew launching a two-run home run in the sixth inning to help the Warhawks win. 
  • Payte Williams pitched the complete-game and gave up no runs on just three hits, striking out four UWG batters. 
  • Senior Day festivities will take place prior to Saturday's doubleheader.

  • The Auburn Montgomery softball team has won eight straight games as they will host University of West Florida in the last Gulf South Conference home series of the season. 
  • Game one of the series will be Friday, April 19 at 5 p.m. and the doubleheader will be Saturday, April 20 at 1 p.m. for Senior Day. 
  • Haley Ann Frank owns the team's best batting average at .488 and has tallied 60 hits. Chloe Baynes is right behind her with a batting average of .483 and has 70 hits. 
  • Alanna Goble is leading AUM in the circle with an ERA of 2.49 and has struck out 102 batters this season and owns a 12-3 record.

  • The AUM tennis team will have one final match before the Gulf South Conference Tournament begins as they travel to Georgia College on Friday, April 19 at 2 p.m. 
  • On the men's side Adrian Contreras has a 14-4 record in singles primarily on court three and Alex Verdasco has a 12-3 record in singles at the back three courts. 
  • The AUM women's team is ranked No. 5 in the nation and Ana Villalvazo has a 15-3 record with a majority of her matches at the third court. 
  • Estefania Garcia has a 15-5 record in singles at the first court and is 16-4 this season in doubles with Ane Ibarra.
