MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The No. 15 Auburn University at Montgomery softball team dropped a Gulf South Conference doubleheader on Saturday at the AUM Softball Complex on Senior Day.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The Argos scored four runs in the top of the second to take the first lead of the game.
- AUM rallied in the third inning as Molly Cobb hit a RBI-single to scratch a run. Kat Fallen delievered a sacrifice-fly to score Chloe Baynes and cut the deficit in half. Gia Martin stole second base, and Lexie Bullock was able to score a run off a West Florida error.
- West Florida scored a pair of runs in the top of the fourth off a two-RBI triple to go up 6-3.
- Baynes opened the bottom of the seventh with a single and Haley Ann Frank got on base, thanks to a UWF error. With two runners on, Fallen hit a sacrifice fly and scored Baynes, but AUM could not get another rally going as UWF claimed the 6-4 victory.
IN THE CIRCLE
- Brinkley Yevak (L, 6-2) worked the complete game and gave up six runs with four being earned runs. She struck out three batters and walked one.

HIGHLIGHTS
- West Florida scored seven unanswered runs in the top of the first inning off five hits.
- AUM got runners on base in the bottom of the first and scored three runs with Cobb, Fallen, and Rebecca Komers grabbing runs batted in to make it 7-3.
- West Florida scored three runs in the second frame and added four more in the third inning to grow the lead to 14-3.
- Lexi Love hit a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth to make it 15-4.
- West Florida hit a solo homer in the fifth and in the bottom of the fifth, Fallen hit a two-run home run. AUM was unable to extend the game as UWF earned the 15-6 run-rule victory.
