MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Auburn University at Montgomery men's soccer head coach Matthew Thorne has announced the team's 2024 schedule that features seven of its first nine matches at the AUM Soccer Complex.

"We are very pleased to have one of the strongest schedules in the nation," said Thorne. "We will take on numerous sides that reached the NCAA tournament last year. Our group of 12 seniors understands the level that is needed for success and are hungry to create history. I am excited for the season ahead!"

The Warhawks are set to open the season on Sept. 5 when they play host to Saint Leo University at 7 p.m. at the AUM Soccer Complex. AUM then turns around and takes on the University of Tampa on Sept. 7. The Warhawks close out the home non-conference slate on Sept. 15 against Clayton State.

The orange and black hit the road for their final non-conference games on Sept. 19 at Carson-Newman University and Sept. 21 at Lander University before returning home to host Lee University in the Gulf South Conference opener at the AUM Soccer Complex. 

AUM's other home opponents include Trevecca Nazarene University (Sept. 29), the University of Alabama in Huntsville (Oct. 4), the University of West Alabama (Oct. 6), Christian Brothers University (Oct. 25), and Union University (Oct. 27).

The Warhawks' away fixtures in league play include Spring Hill College (Oct. 11), the University of West Florida (Oct. 13) , the University of Montevallo (Oct. 18), Delta State University (Nov. 1), and Mississippi College (Nov. 3) ahead of the GSC tournament beginning on Nov. 9.
