MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team opened the 2025 season with an exhibition match against Middle Georgia on Sunday that saw the Warhawks on top 4-0.
 
The Warhawks currently rank No. 10 headed into the regular season. 
 
DOUBLES 

• AUM would take the doubles point after winning all three matches.
• The team of Estefania Garcia and Ane Ibarra won 7-6 after four tie-breaker points. 
• Sofia Neri and Melissa Yakup Pour were able to win 6-3.

SINGLES

• The Warhawks clinched three singles points.
• Estefania Garcia was able to win in three sets, 4-6, 6-0 and 6-2. 
• Melissa Yakup Pour won 7-6 and 6-3 with three tie-breaker points.
• Nahia Izco would also win for the third singles point, 6-2 and 6-4.
