MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks women's soccer team (1-7-2, GSC: 0-5-2) played a tough match against the visiting Spring Hill College Badgers (4-2-6, GSC: 2-2-3), but one goal made the difference as the Warhawks fell 1-0 Sunday afternoon in Gulf South Conference action at the AUM Soccer Complex.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Za'keya Charles posted the lone shot for the Warhawks.
Karla Guzman-Ortiz grabbed eight saves against nine shots on goal from SHC.
Alexa Pratt found the back of the net in the 37th minute, which served as the game winner and the contest's only score.
Hannah Fromme, Flecia Ajayi and Pratt each posted two SOGs to lead the Badger attack.
UP NEXT
AUM returns to action Wednesday, October 15 at 3 p.m. against Georgia College. The game will serve as the Faculty and Staff Appreciation/Pink Day at the AUM Soccer Complex.
