JACKSON, Tenn. - The Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks women's soccer team (1-10-2, GSC: 0-7-2) took to the road to face the Union University Bulldogs (4-5-3, GSC: 3-5-1) in Gulf South Conference action Friday evening where the Bulldogs captured a 5-0 win.
Za'keya Charles led the attack with a shot on goal.
Giulia Wekesa added a shot.
Karla Guzman-Ortiz posted six saves against 11 shots faced.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half
Union scored early with a goal in the 11th minute as Rebekah Jackson found the back of the net with an assist from Paige Blackburn to move the score to 1-0.
Second Half
The Bulldogs added another score in the second half as well into the 77th minute, Carly VanGiesen found the back of the net to move the tally to 2-0.
From there, the Union attack exploded with three goals in the final 10 minutes starting with a goal from Blackburn with assists from Lucia Revuetta and Jackson in the 81st minute. Revuetta followed with a score in the 84th minute thanks to an assist from Ella Neely. Then in the 86th minute, Joslyn Greene scored on an assist from Neely to move to the 5-0 final.

AUM stays on the road for a GSC match against Christian Brothers Sunday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. in Memphis, Tennessee.
