MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks women's soccer team's (1-13-2, GSC: 0-10-2) season has come to a close as the Warhawks took a 2-0 loss to the Delta State Lady Statesmen (7-5-4, GSC: 6-3-3) on Sunday afternoon in Gulf South Conference action at the AUM Soccer Complex.
Aisling Roche and
Chloe Wallace both posted two shots and a shot on goal.
Lana Collado Lopez and
Emmi Cook each registered a shot.
Karla Guzman-Ortiz finished with six saves against eight shots faced.
Faith Rush nabbed a save.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Casey Stalder opened the scoring at the two-minute mark with an unassisted goal. Kenndi Turner scored in the 10th minute with an assist from Salder to conclude scoring and the Lady Statesmen to the 2-0 victory.
