MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery women's soccer team (1-3) battled with the visiting University of Montevallo Falcons (2-2) in a tight matchup that went the way of Montevallo, 1-0, on Wednesday evening at the AUM Soccer Complex in Gulf South Conference action.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
The decisive goal came in the 71st minute when Montgomery's Morgan Goehring found the back of the net with assists from teammates Mary Casey and Elise Marquardt to get the 1-0 victory.
 
NOTABLES

• AUM's Courtney Pigford led the Warkhawk attack with two shots and a shot on goal.
• Aisling Roche, Za'keya Charles and Emmi Cook all registered shots.
• Karla Guzman-Ortiz tallied nine saves.
• AUM took five shots with one on goal, while the Falcons took 19 shots with 10 SOGs.
