MOUNT PLEASANT, SC. - The Auburn University at Montgomery women's golf team kicked off their spring season at the Lenoir-Rhyne/Dunes West Women's Intercollegiate. The event was hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University at the Dunes West Golf Course in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
During round one,
Ashley Nelson led the way for the Warhawks, scoring a one round total of 78 (+6) with three birdies on the day.
Georgia Cater posted a 90 (+18) in the opening round.
Hailey Westmoreland finished close behind, ending round one with a 91 (+19). Rounding out the Warhawks was
Aubrie Medford, carding a 99 (+27).
Round two was suspended and will resume February 24 at 8:30 a.m., prior to the start of round three.
