Biography
2021 [Senior]: Played nine singles matches for the Warhawks in her return to action in 2021… had a 5-4 record in singles action during her senior season, including a 3-0 mark playing in the five slot for the Warhawks… was 3-2 in Gulf South Conference play… in doubles, she was 10-5 with a 6-3 record in GSC action… won her lone doubles match in the first position for AUM and was 9-5 in the third slot for the Warhawks… went 1-1 in doubles during her first appearance in the Gulf South Conference postseason.
[2020 Short Season]: Played nine matches for the Warhawks, all coming in the bottom two positions… tallied a singles record of 5-2 for AUM, netting a 2-0 mark in the fifth spot and a 3-2 record playing in the six-hole… earned an appearance in the national rankings in doubles action with Alba de la Torre throughout the season at #20 in the country… the two partners recorded a 3-4 record in 2020.
2019 [Sophomore]: Finished second on the team in singles wins (10) during her sophomore season… saw action in two different positions for AUM in 2019, earning nine of her 10 singles wins in the five slot… earned six victories in doubles competition, four of them coming against GSC opponents.
2018 [Freshman]: Went 8-7 overall with a 6-4 mark in the GSC playing the No. 6 singles … Was 8-10 in doubles play with partners Alba De la Torre and Sofia Navarro … Went 5-1 to start her career … Defeated Amelia Cornwall 6-3, 6-0 of #7 Valdosta State to help lead AUM to a 6-3 victory over the Blazers.
Prep: Attended O.S.G West-Friesland… finished 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the North Holland Championships… competed in the 3rd class Sunday competition in 2016.
Personal: Born Julia Enderink on February 19, 1999… daughter of Edwin Enderink and Soukja van Benthem… has one brother Pepyn (13) and one sister Mitzy (15) … is majoring in molecular biology.
