2018 [Junior]: Competed in all five races for the Warhawks in 2019… currently holds the first, fourth, and seventh fastest 8k in school history… set a new school record in the 8k for the Auburn Montgomery men's cross country program, finishing the 2018 Royals Cross Country Challenge in a time of 24:59 to help pace the Warhawks to a 20th place finish in the event…finished a season-best fifth place at the Trevecca DII Showcase with a 27:43:9 8k.

Prior to AUM: Two-year letterman at Meridian Community College where he ran track and cross country under head coach Chip Gayden... member of the 2017 and 2018 NJCAA Indoor National Championship 4x800 team.

Prep: Graduated from Alabama Christian Academy where he ran track and cross country under head coaches Bill Moore and Michael Britton... earned All-State honors for cross country in 2014 and 2015... Won the 5A State Championship in the Outdoor 800m, 1600m and 3200m events in 2015 and 2016 with an Indoor 800m State Championship in 2016.

Personal: Full name is Micah Sheldon Briton... was born on Mar. 12, 1998... the son of Michael and Shannon Britton... has an older sister, Mia Britton... majoring in accounting... holds a personal-best 8K time of 26:47.3, 5K time of 16:06.07, 1500m time of 3.59.53 and 800m time of 1:55.04
