2018 [Sophomore]: Raced in all six events for AUM in her sophomore campaign in 2018… finished in the top three on her team in four of the six races she competed in… ran a personal best 19:34 at the Royals XC Challenge… finished 40th at the GSC Championships to conclude the season, running at a 20:18:71 pace.

Prior to AUM: Attended Ranger College, where she ran cross country and track under head coach Kathy Graham... garnered All-America accolade for the half marathon... three-time All-American Scholar and two-time All-Conference Scholar. Holds three Ranger College records in cross country and track.

Prep: Graduated from Kerotet Girls' High School

Personal: Full name is Gladys J Rutto... majoring in nursing... holds a personal-best 5K time of 19:18 5K with a 5:40 1600m time and 2:17 800m time.
