Biography

2014 [Junior]: Earned First-Team an All-American honor from the NAIA and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association … was also selected a NAIA Scholar Athlete and to the Capital One Academic All-District First Team … took home Southern States Athletic Conference Female Player of the Year following the season and Pitcher of the Year honors during the year … earned SSAC All-Academic team honors … named to the NFCA All-South Region First Team … selected a recipient of the AUM Army ROTC Athletic Achievement award … appeared in 30 games, starting 29 … finished with a 20-5 record and a 1.41 earned run average … struck out 230 hitters in 173 2/3 innings … allowed opponents to hit just .158 on the year … threw 17 complete games, including 11 shutouts … added one save … posted an 11-1 record with a 0.86 ERA in conference games … struck out 109 hitters in 81 1/3 innings in league play … held conference opponents to a .117 batting average … ranked fourth nationally in hits allowed per game (3.86) and opponent batting average … was eighth in the nation in strikeouts per game (9.25) … finished 11th in the NAIA in strikeouts and 13th in ERA … ranked 23rd in wins … had 10 or more strikeouts in eight games … earned SSAC Pitcher of the Week honors for the week of April 14-20, after posting a 2-0 record, 17 strikeouts and a 1.50 ERA in two appearances … struck out a season-high 18 in a one-hit shutout against Campbellsville on Feb. 21 … tossed a season-best 10 innings, striking out 15 in a victory over Brewton-Parker on March 19 … recorded 10 strikeouts in a one-hit shutout against Martin Methodist on April 9 … was selected the NAIA World Series Most Valuable Player and to the All-Tournament team … finished 3-1 with a 1.54 ERA in the World Series … tossed a three-hit shutout against Lindsey Wilson in the World Series on May 24 … allowed just two hits and an unearned run against William Carey on May 26 …  tossed a shutout, striking out nine, against Reinhardt on May 27 … recorded the final out of the national championship game against WCU on May 29, earning her only save of the season.

2013 [Sophomore]: Received NAIA Second-Team All-American and SSAC All-Conference recognition after setting new AUM single-season records in wins, strikeouts, complete games and innings pitched … started 31 of the 35 games she appeared in, finishing 23-6 with a 1.47 ERA and 21 complete games … she struck out 276 batters in 199 2/3 innings, limiting hitters to a .160 batting average … was a four-time SSAC Pitcher of the Week, collecting the award on back-to-back occasions on March 11/March 18 and April 15/April 22 … was also named NAIA Pitcher of the Week on April 23 after tossing her first career no-hitter against nationally-ranked Belhaven on April 20 … threw another no-hitter against the Blazers on May 5 in the SSAC Tournament, striking out 15 and walking only one … established a new career-high with 17 strikeouts in a win against Grand View on May 13 to open up NAIA tournament play … broke that record in AUM’s marathon 14-inning loss to Spring Hill on May 24, striking out 19 batters over 13 1/3 innings and tying a 24-year old NAIA tournament record in the process … racked up double-digit strikeouts in 10 of her 31 starts … six of those starts came against ranked opponents, and she was 10-5 with a 1.35 ERA in her 15 starts against top competition … earned spots on the SSAC and NAIA All-Tournament teams ... registered her only save of the year against Thomas on March 9 … also named to the SSAC All-Academic team … had a career-best 29 2/3 inning scoreless stretch from April 6-21 … held opponents to two earned runs or less in 29 of her 35 appearances.

2012 [Freshman]: Earned spots on the SSAC All-Division and All-Freshmen teams … also named to the Second-Team All-East Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association … appeared in 30 games as a pitcher, with 22 starts … finished with a 13-7 record and a 1.77 era in 150.1 innings pitched … had 161 strikeouts and only 57 walks … held opponents to a .203 batting average … registered 15 complete games … also chipped in two saves … held teams to less than three runs in 26 of her 30 appearances … had a season-high 11 strikeouts in a complete game victory over Tennessee Wesleyan on Feb. 24 … tossed complete game shutouts against Notre Dame (OH) (March 2), Mobile (March 25) and William Carey (April 13) … allowed only one earned run over three complete games from April 13-20 … made six starts of at least six innings pitched without allowing an earned run … registered saves against Thomas (March 18) and Spring Hill (April 22) … had no hits in two official at-bats at the plate … drove in a run against Tuskegee on Feb. 22 after being hit by a pitch ... named to the Provost’s Honor Roll for recording a grade-point average over 3.50.

Prep: Lettered for five seasons in softball for head coach Ed Miller at Dallas County High School in Plantersville, Ala. … helped the Hornets to the Alabama High School Athletic Association 4A State Championship and a 38-5 record as a senior … holds the top two single-season wins and strikeout totals in school history … was named to the MaxPreps Small Schools All-American team following her senior season … earned the Alabama 4A State Player of the Year award … earned All-Super State honors from the Alabama Sports Writers Association as a senior … was selected to the 2011 AHSAA 4A State All-Tournament team … was also named the ASWA Player and Pitcher of the Year in 2011 … posted a 34-5 record in the circle, striking out 426 in 223.0 innings … tossed 20 shutouts and six no-hitters during her final season … was named the 2010 All-State 4A Pitcher South Regional MVP and was selected to participate in the annual state All-Star game in Huntsville, Ala. … as a junior, posted a 27-3-1 record and a 0.58 earned run average … struck out 412 hitters in just 169.0 innings, allowing just 59 hits … finished with a .407 batting average with 27 RBIs as a junior … was an all-region selection as a sophomore.
