2022: Helped the Warhawks to a sixth-place finish at the 2022 Gulf South Conference Championships with an 8K time of 26:03.30...Cofield's GSC championships time was his season-best for the Warhawks and a career-best in an AUM uniform...also ran a 26:24.5 at the Royals XC Challenge and a 26:46.7 at the UNA Invitational...named to the GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll...also tallied a personal best 10K time of 34:16.1 at the NCAA South Region Championships, helping AUM finish 11th overall...his 34:16 ranks seventh all-time in 10K performances for the Warhawks.

2021: Was named to the Gulf South Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll…competed in six meets for the Warhawks in 2021…led AUM with a four-mile time of 21:24.70, the third-fastest in program history, at the CBU Memphis Twilight on Sept. 4…finished a season-high sixth at the Falcon Classic on Sept. 17…posted a season-best 8K time of 26:40.60 at the Charger Invite on Oct. 9…posted a 100th-place finish with a 10K time of 36:47.50 at the NCAA South Regionals on Nov. 6.

2020: Was named to the 2020 GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll...took part in four meets for AUM…finished a season-high 13th with an 8K time of 28:18.90 at the Coach Gary Wilson Invitational on Oct. 10…posted a personal-best as a Warhawk with a time of 26:33.20, earning him 39th place at the GSC Championship on Oct. 31.

2019: In his freshman season, raced to a 66th place finish in 27:48.3 at the Montevallo Falcon Classic...also raced to 117th in the Mountain Dew Gator Cross Country Invitational...ran a 27:39.9 at the UAH Charger Open 8K to finish 27th...also raced to a 26:38.3 at the Royals XC Challenge...posted a 27:17.3 and 42nd place at the Gulf South Conference championships...finished 103rd at the NCAA Division II South Regional Championships with a time of 36:12.4, good for the sixth fastest 10k time in school history.

PREP: Spent his prep career at Albertville High School in Albertville, Ala., where he ran for coaches Logan Cornutt, Jimmy Patterson and Torrey Croft...lettered in both cross country and track, earning All-County and All-State honors during his career.

PERSONAL: The son of George and Vanessa Cofield...has one older brother, Nic.
