2022: Ran six races this season for AUM...named to the GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll...helped the Warhawks finish sixth at the Gulf South Conference Championships and 11th at the NCAA Division II South Regional...posted a career-best 8K time of 26:40.9 at the University of Alabama in Huntsville Division II Festival Year Showcase...finished seventh on the team at the NCAA South Regional meet and cracked the Top 10 all-time performance list in the 10K for the Warhawks.

2021: Was named to the Gulf South Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll…saw action in five meets for AUM…began the season by notching the 10th-fastest four-mile time in program history (22:13.75) at the CBU Memphis Twilight on Sept. 4…logged an AUM personal-record 8K time of 27:12.70 at the GSC Championship on Oct. 23 while posting the eighth-best 10K time in program history (35:33.08) at the NCAA South Regionals on Nov. 6.

2020: Was named to the 2020 GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll...ran in two meets…opened up his Warhawk career with an 8K time of 28:18.50, good enough for 75th place, at the UAH Chargers Open on Sept. 19…posted a 33rd-place finish with a time of 30:01.30 at the Coach Gary Wilson Invitational on Oct. 10.

PRIOR TO AUM: Lettered for two seasons at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Ala....was part of back-to-back ACCC Championship teams while with the Lions…additionally served as the Outreach Coordinator for the Baptist Campus Ministry. 
 
PREP: Was a four-year letter winner in both cross country and track and field at Northside High School in Northport, Ala.…posted personal-best times of 17:26 in the 5K, 2:03 in the 800m, 4:42 in the 1600m, and 10:11 in the 3200m…also lettered for three seasons of varsity basketball.
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Jefferson Drake Patton…was born on July 28, 2000…is the son of Jeff and Desiree Patton…has a younger brother, Cooper, and two older sisters, Caroline and Lizzy…majoring in Kinesiology.
