Biography

2012 [Junior]: Played in 59 games, making 55 starts for AUM … finished with a .299 batting average and a .361 on-base percentage … was third on the team with 49 hits … had eight doubles, 14 RBI and 24 runs scored … stole six bases on seven attempts … had nine multi-hit games, including two games with three hits against Bellevue (March 2) and William Carey (April 28) … had an 11-game hitting streak from March 30-April 14, which tied for the longest streak on the team last season … also had a seven-game hitting streak from March 16-25 … registered a .946 fielding percentage, playing primarily at second base … also made nine appearances as a pitcher, including five starts … finished with a 4-2 record and a 1.84 era in 38 innings pitched … also tallied two saves against Thomas (March 18) and Spring Hill (April 2) … struck out a season-high seven batters against Tuskegee on Feb. 22 … had 25 strikeouts for the season with only three walks … allowed no runs in five of her nine outings from the mound.

Prior to AUM: Was a two-year letterwinner at Central Alabama Community College in Alexander City, Ala., where she helped the Trojans to a combined 99-19 record … helped CACC to the 2010 State Championship … posted a 23-3 record and a 1.65 earned run average in the circle as a sophomore … also hit .327, with 10 home runs, 19 doubles and 41 runs batted in … was an Alabama Community College Conference All-Region selection and was named the Most Valuable Player of the ACCC Tournament as a sophomore ... was an First-Team All-Central League honoree after finishing the year 20-6 with a 1.16 earned run average during her freshman season … posted a .324 batting average in 53 games.

Prep: Lettered in softball, volleyball and basketball at Edgewood Academy in Wetumpka, Ala. … was an all-state selection in softball as a freshman, junior and senior … finished her senior season with a 12-5 record, a 1.49 ERA and two saves, while limiting opponents to hit just .186 … also tallied a .480 batting average at the plate, posting 82 hits, including 15 doubles and seven triples, while driving in 33 runs and scoring 41 more … earned All-Metro honors from the Montgomery Advertiser and was selected to the Wetumpka Herald Diamond Dozen squad following her senior season.
