2019 [Freshman]: Appeared in 21 games in the circle in her initial season wearing the Orange & Black, earning starts in 10 of those games… earned a 7-2 record in the circle for AUM while posting a 1.77 era… threw 71.1 innings, striking out a team-high 72 batters… allowed just two extra-base hits in 2019… struck out a season-high 10 batters on March 11 against GSC opponent Union… hit .321 at the plate in her freshman season… slugged five home runs and 16 RBI… hit two home runs and drove in four on April 16 against Talladega.

Prep: Comes to AUM from Hale County High School in Moundville, Ala., where she is a six-year letterwinner in softball, a three-year letterwinner in volleyball and a one-year letter winner in basketball ... Batted .488 as a junior with 167 runs batted in and 17 home runs at the plate ... From the circle she notched a 1.05 earned run average with 148 strikeouts last season, earning 11 shutouts and two no-hitters with an overall record of 23-9 ... For her career she has notched 780 strikeouts, 50 shutouts and 12 no-hitters with an ERA of 1.18 and a lifetime record of 98-38 ... A two-time ASWA Pitcher of the Year selection, Holmes was named the AHSAA 2A State Tournament Most Valuable Player in 2014 and the AHSAA 3A State Tournament MVP in 2016 ... Earned ASWA First Team All-State honors in 2014, 2015 and 2016, while earning Second Team All-State honors in 2017 ... In 2014 was named the ASWA 2A Player of the Year … Named to the AHSAA 3A All-Tournament in 2015 and 2016, while earning 2A All-Tournament honors in 2014 ... Named to the West Alabama Super 9 list in 2014, 2016 and 2017 ... In 2017 she was selected to play in the AHSAA North/South All-Star Game ...
